Who we are

CarOner is operated by Decacorn Services Private Limited(CIN U62099PN2024PTC234908), Pune, Maharashtra, India — "we", "us". This policy covers the caroner.com website and the CarOner mobile app.

What we collect, and why

• When you request a garage match: your name, mobile number, car make/model, the work you need (or your description of the problem), your locality, and when you need it. We collect this for exactly one purpose — verifying your request and connecting you with up to 3 vetted garages.
• When you join the waitlist: your email and/or phone, and optionally your car and area — so we can tell you when we cover you.
• When you check a price: nothing. Price checks are anonymous. We don't require an account for anything.
• In the app — "My Car": your car details and service log are stored only on your phone. They never leave your device unless you submit a match request.

What we don't do

• No advertising, no ad networks, no selling or renting your data. Ever.
• No third-party analytics or tracking scripts on this website or in the app.
• No spam: your number goes to one matched garage after we verify your request — never to a call-centre list.
• No hidden profiling. What you see on this page is the whole system.

Who sees your data

When your request is verified and matched, we share your name, number, car, the job, your area and timing with the garages we match you to — at most 3 — that's what the service is. Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare (data stored and processed on their network). If a job completes and you or the garage share the final bill amount, we add theprice — never your name or number — to our anonymous fair-price data, which helps the next car owner.

How long we keep it

Lead details are kept while your request is active and for up to 24 months afterwards, then deleted or anonymised (they're also how we hold garages accountable — e.g. refunding a garage's lead credit if they never called you). Anonymous price data is kept indefinitely. Want your personal details deleted sooner? One email, and it's done.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or have it erased. Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above. We won't quietly expand what we collect — a material change will be announced on the site.
